The Union of Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean
Pediatric Societies (UMEMPS)
UMEMPS was established on September 3, 1966 in Jordan, is a regional professional organization dedicated to advancing pediatric medicine across the Middle East and Mediterranean region. It brings together pediatricians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to share scientific knowledge, discuss clinical advances, and collaborate on improving child health outcomes.
Welcome Letter
It's my pleasure to announce the 44th Congress of the Union of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Pediatric Societies (UMEMPS), which is held in joint with the 8th International Conference and Exhibition of the Iraqi Kurdistan Pediatric Society on September 10-11, 2026 in Erbil Rotana Hotel, Erbil City, Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
This premier event will bring together pediatricians, subspecialists, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the region and beyond to share expertise, discuss innovations, and advance knowledge in pediatric medicine and child health.

The scientific program will feature a wide range of topics in pediatrics, highlighting evidence-based practices, recent advances, and collaborative approaches that improve care for children and adolescents.
